MERIDIAN, Idaho —The Pinnacle community is proud to announce the launch of the South Meridian Market, a new monthly gathering that promises to be the highlight of the community calendar. This inaugural market, kicking off on April 10, 2024, will connect the residents of Meridian with the best of local small businesses, artisans, farmers, and entertainers.
“Launching the South Meridian Market is a wonderful complement to the current Meridian Main Street Market downtown,” said CheRee Eveland, of Eventageous Idaho, and the manager of both the Meridian Main Street Market and this new South Meridian Market. “We aim to create another place, on the other end of town, where the community can enjoy local seasonal produce, unique handcrafted goods, and the creative spirit of our local artisans. It’s more than a market; it’s a celebration of the incredible offerings of our region and the dedicated people behind them.”
The South Meridian Market at Pinnacle will run from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm every second Wednesday of the month from April to October. Nestled in the future site of the Library and Amphitheater, at the northwest corner of Locust Grove & Lake Hazel, the market is positioned to become a staple for community gatherings and support for local commerce.
The debut event will feature a variety of attractions, including an official ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Meridian Chamber of Commerce, live music from Nelson at the Helm, and a diverse selection of vendors from Alfie’s Smoked Salsa to the handcrafted delicacies of The Artisan Bread Shop & Bakery.
Residents of Meridian and beyond are invited to come and experience the beginning of what is set to be a cherished local tradition. The South Meridian Market is more than a place to shop — it’s a space to connect, enjoy, and celebrate the community spirit that makes Meridian unique.
